On my Inspiron 14 5425 (a Windows laptop with a touch screen), shift lock does not work in some games. I know that Roblox knows that I am on a PC though since I get the “Keyboard + Mouse” option in the settings for movement. However, when I go into Device Manager, disable the touch screen, and restart Roblox, shift lock works perfectly.
Issue Description Shift Lock no longer functions in experiences where it is normally supported when the movement mode is set to “Click to Move.” Pressing Shift does not toggle Shift Lock, the camera remains unchanged, and character movement is unaffected. Reproduction Steps Join any Roblox experience that allows Shift Lock.
If you are playing in another users game and it says ‘Set by Developer’ this means there is another method for enabling shift lock or you cannot enable shift lock. If this is inside your game an you are wanting to enable shift lock, you can use this: game:GetService("StarterPlayer").EnableMouseLockOption = true

You can edit/remove the shift lock icon from the files with image editing software or replace it with a file manager. The file is named MouseLockedCursor.png and is located in the textures folder of your Roblox executable directory. Fortunately, Roblox has fixed the issue with the cursor, however, Shift Lock still doesn’t work. Games also recognise my device as a “mobile” device, not a Laptop like it is.
My problem is that you can move your mouse during shift lock and it doesn’t turn with your cursor unless your holding down your mouse. I have attached a video to show the problem as well.
