Everything from meeting with officials of neighboring school districts to improving student achievement was on the floor for discussion Monday at a study session of the Cape Girardeau School Board.
The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau honored Dr. Kalisha McLendon with the Woman of Achievement award at its annual luncheon. McLendon, a dentist, was praised for her work in expanding health care access.
