A flood alert is to remain in place for parts of Surrey after heavy rain resulted in some rivers bursting their banks on Thursday.

The Met Office has issued multiple weather warnings over the weekend as Storm Ingrid descends upon the UK with heavy rain and lashing winds.

As a result, there is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life as well as damage to homes and businesses.
