Everton midfielder James Garner hopes to be part of the club "for a long time" after signing a new long-term deal. The 24-year-old, who joined from Manchester United in September 2022 having been on loan at Nottingham Forest, has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract to keep him with the Toffees until 2030.
Carlos Baleba has been touted as the most likely signing, as United look to replace Casemiro, who is currently heading for the exit door himself. Brighton are unlikely to let him go on the cheap, meaning Garner could represent a cost-effective option to help bolster their ranks.
