Lottery players in Coon Rapids and International Falls start 2026 as millionaires, thanks to the Minnesota Millionaire Raffle.

COON RAPIDS, Minn. — Two Minnesotans are starting out the New Year on a particularly high note after they both won $1 million in the Minnesota Millionaire Raffle. The winning tickets were purchased at Holiday Stationstores in Coon Rapids and Forestland Sales in International Falls, according to the Minnesota Lottery.

The Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets, which went on sale October 21, sold out in just 14 days by November 3, marking the fastest sellout in the game's history.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Dec. 31, drawing are: 11, 18, 21, 24, 38 and the Powerball is 26. The "Power Play" multiplier is 10x.

For those unfamiliar with Newport Minnesota, it's located along Highway 61 South of St. Paul, and just North of Cottage Grove. The population of Newport is just a touch short of 4,500 people, but already this year Winners Corner in Newport has sold 2 winning tickets valued at more than $25,000 a piece!
