Happy Modification Monday. Sometimes I modify cymbal models that I’ve designed. Here we have some second generation Special Dry models. 20” Crash, 21” Ride and 15” hats. The owner asked for me to make them more usable as their sound is very one dimensional. The crash and the ride are very dark and funky where the cymbals sound is very narrow. The set of hats are sluggish. I am not going to do any lathing I’m just going to hammer these so when you play the 21” ride there’s better clarity and stic
